DESCRIPTION

Aurai DFS GTX, the AKU technical footwear for high altitude mountaineering and ice climbing. A synthesis of lightness, precision and comfort, allowing one to tackle the most demanding climbs, even with a fully loaded backpack. These boots offer maximum protection and high warmth, even for prolonged use in cold environments. The thermal insulation is guaranteed by a Gore-Tex Insulated Comfort lining with its 350g padding, Primaloft inserts on the tongue and toe box and an anatomic felt footbed layered with aluminum. Its gaiter of elastic fabric covers the entire shoe and rises above the cuff for maximum warmth and protection from snow and ice. Walking is extremely easy, thanks also to the AKU Elica Natural Stride System which enhances the biodynamic efficiency. The Kevlar upper, combined with the Spider Frame over-injection, guarantees resistance to impact and abrasion and excellent freedom of movement. Aurai DFS GTX adopts the Dual Fit System, an exclusive AKU technology, allowing a fit customization by simply acting on the two different lacing systems. The sole is Vibram Croda Litebase, compatible with automatic crampons, ensuring stability, grip and precision, even in the most technical passages.
