After the PreAlpiTour Hike&Fly Race 2023, which took place in July between Veneto and Trentino and saw the participation of athletes from 8 nations, with AKU as main sponsor, AKU's commitment now continues with a new initiative aimed at promote this interesting outdoor discipline and stimulate the interest of a young and sporty audience in the AKU brand.
AKU Hike&Fly Sprint 2023 is scheduled from 23 September to 11 November 2023 , a competition in 5 stages in the mountains of Val Belluna, Alpago and the Venetian Prealps, with a formula also suitable for pilots who are new to hike&fly or for those who want to gain experience for more demanding competitions such as the PreAlpiTour. The scheduled dates are as follows:

As in every Hike&Fly activity, each stage has a hike and a fly section: the pilots will have to climb on foot towards the take-off point, through a free route of around 1000 meters of altitude difference, mostly on mountain paths, and then fly to the landing point, getting as close to a target as possible.
In each of these 5 stages the athletes of the AKU Hike&Fly Team will be present who, in addition to participating in the various Hike&Fly events in the Alps, collaborate with AKU in testing and developing specific footwear for fast hiking, such as the new FlyRock model AKU fast-hiking shoe with Dynamic Fit technology, designed for the most demanding off-road adventures.
