Gabriele Mastrilli

Gabriele Mastrilli is 100% Sicilian. Raised in Palermo, where he still lives when not traveling the world, he has a degree in Natural Sciences with a specialization in Ecology and Biogeography, has an immense interest in nature and hiking and a passion for photography.
He has been an AIGAE Environmental Hiking Guide since 2002, he loves telling and listening to stories of different cultures around the world and discovering the beauty of Sicily through the eyes of those who see his island for the first time.
Founder of the Photonature Association and of Società Terra, he is committed to promoting the territory and slow and sustainable tourism. Collaborates with travel agencies, Italian and foreign tour operators and environmental associations. As a photographer he has published numerous books and collaborates with important tourism and outdoor magazines.
Since 2021 he has been the official guide of the Pantelleria Island National Park.
