“The great mountain photographers” is a virtual journey on the mountains of the world, through the vision of the greatest authors of mountain photography. Looking at “the photos of the mountains” and “the photos from the mountains”, we discover not only the photographic style, but also the approach to the mountains of the various authors, inextricably linked to the idea of the photographic image.
The authors we have chosen to guide us in this great photographic journey are:
Ansel Adams · Vittorio Sella · Walter Bonatti · Gianfranco Bini · William Frederick Donkin · Fratelli Bisson · Jürgen Winkler · Davide Camisasca · Marco Milani · Famiglia Tairraz · Galen Rowell · Patrick Morrow · Francesco Ravelli · Lorenzino Cosson · Carlo Meazza.
