Returning to the origins to find a balance with Nature
Martina was born and grew up in the Bologna’s Apennines, she moved to the city for her university studies: from Bologna to Ferrara to London and then back to her roots, up into the mountains.
After experiencing life in an international metropolis, she could not silence the call of the forests that led her back to her origins.
She currently lives in a small village of less than 2000 persons in the Apennines, a place where she can be inspired by the Nature that surrounds her.
Always passionate about new ideas and new projects. She needs 48 hours a day to be able to do everything that comes into her head!
She is involved in sustainable lifestyles both through dissemination but especially through example and putting her ecological ethics into practice. You can find out more about Martina’s responsible choices through her Instagram profile ‘martina.goes.green‘ and that of ‘Rete Zero Waste’, an Italian organisation that deals with information related to waste reduction issues.
Being in contact with Nature is a great passion, as well as a profession. As a Environmental Hiking Guide she aspires to bring more and more people closer to a lifestyle that respects and is aware of the balance of what surrounds us. She carries out environmental education activities with children in schools and various types of excursions with adults in collaboration with cooperatives and Guide associations.
