Gabriele Mastrilli is 100% Sicilian. He grew up in Palermo, where he still lives when he is not travelling the world, he has a degree in Natural Sciences with a specialisation in Ecology and Biogeography, an immense interest in nature, hiking and photography.

He has been an AIGAE Environmental Hiking Guide since 2002. He loves to tell and listen to stories of different cultures around the world and to let people discover the beauty of Sicily through the eyes of those who see his island for the first time.

Founder of the “Associazione Photonature” and “Società Terra”, he is committed to promoting the territory and slow and sustainable tourism. He collaborates with travel agencies, Italian and foreign tour operators and environmental associations. As a photographer, he has published numerous books and collaborates with important tourism and outdoor magazines.

Since 2021, he has been an official guide of the Pantelleria Island National Park.
