1. AS - AIR SYSTEM
AIR8000® and AIR INFINITY are the two unique technological solutions utilised by AKU for engineering a breathable upper with the correct thermal balance. Laboratory tests confirm that AIR8000® offers up to 11 times greater breathability than a traditional fabric over a period of 24 hours.

2. IMS - INTERNAL MIDSOLE SYSTEM
The insole is made according to AKU’s IMS system where it captures perfectly the shape of the underfoot, preventing the foot from slipping back and forth and from side to side in heavy use. At the same time, it guarantees shock absorption.

3. SMF - SLOW MEMORY FOAM
This is an ultra-light and ultra-breathable material engineered to enable the boot’s upper to mould to the foot’s shape and thus provide additional comfort, thanks to the special dynamic shape memory. SMF is placed in three strategic points of the boot: in the anatomic removable foot bed, in the tongue and the ankle area.

4. EXO - EXOSKELETON
EXOSKELETON is a new solution which AKU has applied to a number of its hi-tech models. A new architecture made of polyurethane, conceived to guarantee protection and stability only where it is needed, without compromising the light weight and breathability of the upper.

DS - DYNAMIC STABILIZER
Dinamic Stabilizer is a dinamic system that provides lateral support and torsional control. The three independent lateral walls provide the shoe with a modular support that self adapts to uneven terrains, meanwhile the central vertebra provide torsional control and arch support maintaining the forefoot flexibile.
